Ginger soup recipe

Ingredients   (Measurement Conversion Calculator)

Juice of one lemon
Salt - 0.75 teaspoon
Grated fresh ginger -2 Tablespoons
Cumin seeds - 1 Tablespoon, toasted
Fresh coriander leave
Stock or water - 4 cups
Black pepper - 0.5 teaspoon


Directions

Put grated ginger and stock into a pot. Bring to a boil. Heat on low heat for 30 minutes till the water has reduced by half. Add salt, cumin and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes. Squeeze in lemon juice & garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
