Red colouring item - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 700 gm
Ripe pear - 10 to 12
Directions
Slice the guavas in small pieces and remove the seeds. Heat water in a deep pan and cook the guavas until tender. Filter out the liquid part. Take the cooked guava and sugar in a pan and cook over medium heat. Stir regularly. When the jam thickens remove the pan from the heat. Add red colour and mix well. Allow the jam to cool down. Store in a clean air-tight container.
