Ingredients (Measurement Conversion Calculator) Raisins - 1 Tablespoon
Cashew nuts - 8, finely choppe
Pears - 250 gm
Clove - 2, crushed
Sugar - 500 gm
Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 2 teaspoon
Marshmelon seeds - 1 Tablespoon
Raw mango - 250 gm
Almonds - 8, finely chopped
Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Directions
Peel and mash the mangoes and pears. Put 1 Tablespoon sugar in a deep saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring regularly till it turns brown. Add 500 ml water and bring to boil. When the sugar has fully dissolved in the water, add the remaining sugar. When it starts boiling again, add the mashed fruit, cashew, raisins, seeds, chilli and salt. Boil till a thick jam consistency is obtained. Stir occasionally. Add the clove powder and garam masala. Cool down a bit and transfer to clean airtight jar.
